Our Mission

The Chestnut Ridge Conservancy was formed to support the restoration and preservation of the rich natural, recreational, and historic resources that comprise Chestnut Ridge Park. To that end, we have established a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works in conjunction with the County of Erie and is dedicated to:

  1. Identifying projects within the park that will help restore the park to its original beauty
  2. Raising awareness for these projects in the Western New York community
  3. Raising funds to supplement those provided by the county budget and allow the Conservancy to maintain a minimal operating budget

We encourage you to join the conservancy by becoming a member, a volunteer, or both. We also suggest that you join our mailing list and frequently refer to our calendar of events for the latest news on events at Chestnut Ridge Park. If you have any questions, please email us at info@ChestnutRidgeConservancy.org.
