The 2015 Gala Celebration
The 2015 Gala was once again successful in bringing in donations and helping us to further our cause. On November 7, 2015, nearly 100 guests enjoyed an evening of great food, music, and dancing at the Orchard Park Country Club. Furthermore, the CRC was able to auction off four beautiful works of “Ridge-inspired” art. We also raised money through the sale of wildflower plugs that will be used to fill the grassy area to the left of the main entrance heading south on Chestnut Ridge Road. This project is slated to begin next year.
Thank you to our guest Master of Ceremonies, Keith Radford (Channel 7 News Anchor). We also took the time to remember our former chairman Raymond Fabiniak who passed away in August of 2015, as well as to honor Justine LeFauve, founding member and secretary of our organization, with the newly-renamed Raymond A. Fabiniak Guardian Award.
After dinner and presentation, guests danced to the music of the Mark Mazur Band.
