Education Workshop — Safety Guidelines (and more) for Women Hikers/Walkers

Sorry for the short notice– due to a scheduling conflict, the Meet the Ranger program will be rescheduled. Instead, this month’s education workshop will discuss Safety Guidelines (and more) for Women Hikers/Walkers.

Come and meet Chief Scott R. Patronik and Chief Alan Rozansky, both members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, who served as members of the task force that helped to bring Altemio Sanchez, the notorious Bike Path Rapist, to justice in 2006. They will discuss the case and also discuss safety tips for persons utilizing remote recreational areas.

The Rangers’ Office is located near the main entrance before the tennis courts. Please park in the main lot by the tennis courts and walk over to the rangers’ station.
