DESCRIPTION:The Erie County Parks Department partners with the Orchard Park Recreation Department to present this popular\, free event that features a full schedule of family fun on both days. Events run from 11:00am to 3:00pm both Saturday 12/9/17 and Sunday 12/10/17. \nPresented by the Erie County Parks\, Recreation & Forestry Department in conjunction with the Orchard Park Recreation Department\, Santa Land is bringing back family activities this year including a hay maze\, wood cutting\, and marshmallow roasts on both days. Family favorites from earlier years return as well\, with hay rides to Santa\, face painting\, a huge mural\, and arts & crafts scheduled for both days. In addition\, the Casino’s concession stand will be open during the event offering food and drink for sale. If conditions permit\, sledding will also be available. Santa Land is also a designated drop-off site for the Toys for Tots campaign\, and participants are encouraged to drop off a new\, unwrapped toy to brighten a child’s holiday. \nThe last hayride departs at 2:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. \nThe Chestnut Ridge Conservancy provides volunteers at this event.

DESCRIPTION:For the first time in our six year history of annual fund raisers\, the Chestnut Ridge Conservancy is proud to announce that the majestic Chestnut Ridge Casino will serve as the venue for our 6th Annual Celebration of Chestnut Ridge Park. \nThis year’s theme is Oktoberfest\, with German food\, beer\, and atmosphere\, along with a magnificent view of the Buffalo and Niagara Falls skyline and spectacular colors compliments of Mother Nature and her typical Western New York autumns. \nThe event will be held a few weeks earlier than usual to allow us to take advantage of the beautiful vistas and pleasant autumn weather. Please mark the evening of Friday\, October 13\, 2017 between 6:00pm and 10:30pm on your calendar. We’d love to see you there! \nCocktail attire is recommended\, but Lederhosen is perfectly acceptable! \nTicket prices will be $125 per person.
