DESCRIPTION:Education Workshops take place every third Saturday of the month inside of Chestnut Ridge Park. \nJoin us for an informal meeting with one of the newly appointed Erie County Park Rangers\, Ranger Supervisor Chuck Bartlett II. Ranger Chuck will tell us about safety improvements throughout all of the county parks. He will then open the floor for questions. \nAdvanced registration is required. DESCRIPTION:Sorry for the short notice– due to a scheduling conflict\, the Meet the Ranger program will be rescheduled. Instead\, this month’s education workshop will discuss Safety Guidelines (and more) for Women Hikers/Walkers. \nCome and meet Chief Scott R. Patronik and Chief Alan Rozansky\, both members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office\, who served as members of the task force that helped to bring Altemio Sanchez\, the notorious Bike Path Rapist\, to justice in 2006. They will discuss the case and also discuss safety tips for persons utilizing remote recreational areas. \nAdvanced registration is required.
